The two sides of a coin. A gigantic universe ready to be explored, somewhat unique to each and every player since it's procedurally generated by a complex algorithm. The planets and the experiences are all unique and you have the ability to name all your discoveries. That all seems positive within this playground of sci-fi exploration. The problem is that what's here now may not be enough to keep the mind busy. I can see why some people may feel bored after a few hours because repetition and grind seem very prevalent. There needs to be a balance between freedom and automation with direction and sculpting. The artist may give you freedom to choose your adventure but when you leave everything to chance without sculpting set pieces and intrigue, the player may feel underwhelmed and begin to question the reason to even play. I'm having a good time now but soon I may start to question myself as well. If Hello Games keeps adding more and more stuff to do and experience as time goes by, this is easily a great purchase, but as it stands now, the game may not be for everyone. Check out reviews and videos and decide if this is a purchase for you. Take me out to the black, I ain't coming back. Score: 8/10
